Where the house is

ASCON LIVING is at 389A Đường Trần Xuân Soạn in Tân Hưng ward. Most people still call the area District 7, or Quận 7 in Vietnamese. Since the 2025 administrative reform the old district names are no longer official, but you will hear the old name from drivers and locals every day, and it remains the easiest way to describe where you are staying.

For first-time visitors

Save the full address in your phone in Vietnamese: 389A Đường Trần Xuân Soạn, Tân Hưng, Ho Chi Minh City. Showing it to a driver is the simplest way to get home.

For returning visitors

If you already know the city centre, the area shows you a different, everyday side of Saigon.

Local life on your doorstep

This is everyday Saigon rather than a tourist strip. Restaurants and street food are close to the house, so breakfast can be a fresh bánh mì or a steaming bowl of phở, and dinner can be whatever smells best on the walk home.

For families

Pick up food nearby and carry it home to eat together at the dining table or up on the rooftop, at the kids' pace.

For groups of friends

Head out to try the street food together, then come back for karaoke or a rooftop drink.

For couples

Find a small local restaurant for dinner, then end the evening on your own rooftop with the city lights in view.

The view: river and District 1 skyline

From the rooftop terrace you look across the river to the District 1 skyline. The city centre always feels within reach, and at night you get the lights without the noise. It is a good reason to spend at least a few evenings at home.

Travel times in Ho Chi Minh City depend heavily on traffic. Please allow extra time, especially at rush hour.

From the airport

Arriving at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport? The simplest option is our airport transfer, which you can arrange together with your booking. Your driver brings you to the gate, and with self check-in by keypad you can walk in whenever you arrive, even late at night. You also receive a key for the outer gate.

Loud music only until 21:30 keeps the house and the neighbourhood relaxed. Plan karaoke and music for the early evening, and enjoy calmer nights with a film or a quiet drink on the rooftop.

Your first day in the area

Drop your bags, take a shower in your own bathroom and head up to the rooftop to get your bearings with the river and the skyline in front of you.
